If there could be a specifically designed place to put french fries and ketchup in, what could it be?
I came up with my own idea of a simple french fry box and sauce cup. It is transportable and easy to handle. Fast food fries always come in paper dish and a separate ketchup cup. Sometimes even, the ketchup just comes in a packet. You can't take your fries and ketchup packet with you to your couch without making a mess. What we need is a place to put those two things in one and that's why I wanted to make this french fry specific dish.
To make both things easy to transport, I've thought about making an attachable sauce cup that you can put inside or outside of the french fry cup. This way, you can easily carry both things at once.

Here is what it looked like after it was bisque fired. I made this geometric shape by rolling a slab first. Then I cut out four congruent squares and another square for the base. I used the technique of slip and score to put both boxes together. The ketchup cup is able to come off and on as well.
My glaze choices for both pieces were deep olive speckle, seaweed, and teal blue. I had to cover both pieces with deep olive speckle entirely first. Then just for the outside, I applied seaweed glaze after. Both interiors are glazed with teal blue after.
The result was interesting. They both turned out looking swampy. I'm not at all disappointed. They are still very useful to their function and I will surely be using them to eat my fries in the living room.
